Senior Business Developer at Pleevi
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our customer base and shaping the business development strategy at Pleevi. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, experience in the energy sector, and a passion for driving sales in dynamic environments, we’d love to have you on our team!
What you'll do
Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers in the energy industry, using your industry insights to connect with high-value prospects and decision-makers.
Sales and Closing Deals: Own the full sales cycle, from developing pitches and demos to negotiating contracts and closing deals that align with Pleevi’s growth goals.
Project Management of Integration with New Partners: Manage the handover from sales to implementation, working cross-functionally with our tech team to ensure smooth onboarding and successful setup for each client.
Customer Success Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients post-sales, ensuring that our solutions meet their expectations, handling escalations, and identifying opportunities to upsell and expand our footprint within their organizations.
Data-Driven Optimization: Occasionally dive into data and performance metrics to collaborate with clients on calculating potential optimization benefits, demonstrating the impact of Pleevi’s solutions on their operations.
Market Insights and Strategy: Capture market insights, develop customer-centric value propositions, and refine our go-to-market strategy.
Job requirements
Sales Expertise: You have a proven track record in business development or account management, preferably within the energy or cleantech sectors, with an ability to close complex, high-value deals.
Industry Knowledge: Your background in the energy industry gives you the insights to understand client needs, communicate technical solutions, and demonstrate our value in optimizing energy usage and charging systems.
Relationship Builder: You excel at building long-term relationships and know how to engage and influence clients from the C-suite down.
Project Management Skills: You have experience in managing projects post-sales, ensuring seamless transitions from signing to implementation, and can navigate cross-functional teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable with data analysis, can interpret performance metrics, and leverage insights to demonstrate the optimization benefits for clients.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in a startup environment, are proactive, and can work independently while bringing fresh ideas and insights.
Communication and Negotiation: Your strong communication and negotiation skills allow you to pitch, present, and close deals effectively.
